crapshoot of a weekend for riding

Even though I get half day fridays, no riding had been done since then and it is now Sunday evening. I blame the rain. I was supposed to go to NH to help dad with a fence installation, but it was raining in the morning. Had planned on riding at Fort Rock on Saturday after the fence work, but that place is nuthing but mud when it rains. I almost have to shower twice to remove all the mud from that place. Sunday was supposed to be spent at Lynn woods at least in the morning but rain had other plans for me. Pretty much, rain had other plans the entire weekend.
To be spent in malls, Ikea, and Mahoneys in Winchester with the soon to be wifey. Oh yeah and Study for my INS interview Monday morning.

Friday at about 3pm, went up to Salem NH rockingham park Mall with Michelle. 6 1/2 hours later walked out with two suits from the mens warehouse. Couldn't decide between two suits to wear to my wedding. One gray with a thin single lined pinstrip by Jones NY and one silk light tan. Took home both to poder and pick probably at the very last minute. Also walked out with with a cool white ribbed or lined tuxedo style shirt and a decent pair of black toe capped kicks. I also got an idea if not found my wedding ban as well as michelles ban. Hers is a half eternity diamond ban. Not the greatest but the price is right. Mine is a tungsten ban with gun metal or black color in the center about 3 mm wide with 1mm of silver on either side.
We will have to go back to get the rings next friday.
Saturday, I spent most of the day sleeping after I called my dad. It wouldn't be worth the drive to do very little work in the rain. so I opened a beer at about 11:45. Fell asleep shortly after till about 3. Then at about 4 went to Ikea. Nothing like 93S traffic in the rain. More wedding shopping had to be done at Ikea. Got some gass vases for the tables the wedding for cut flowers. Figured we do the flowers ourselves to save money. Also got these small white flower pots for having planted flowers in to line in a half circle in the lawn at the dockside for when we say our vows. Michelle liked that idea, I figured she would since her best friend is dirt. Not bad at 75 cents a pot. Also got some white candles for these white lantern looking candle holders we got for the tables. Later more time was spent in the south shore mall. Again looking for suits or tuxes and wedding bans.
Sunday was spent at Mahoneys flower and garden in Winchester to get flowers for the white pots we got. I think we made out alright. We got an assortment of white potted flowered plants. Hopefully in one months time the potted flowers will have some time to get a little bigger and bloom, the the help of miracle grow. Fingers crossed. At the last minute, closer the the wedding date, some white daisies will also be planted. Michelle is out right potting the plants. Now I have to go do some more studying for this citizenship interview. I think I should do alright. They are going to ask questions like what color is the flag and some government and US history stuff. So even though no riding was done, at least I actually felt productive this weekend with the wedding planning details. The last month will all be about the details. And I'll need to pass my INS test so that I can get a passport to go to Paris with Michelle for the honeymoon.
