Nemba's Singletracks Magazine
I recently recieved the new issue of Singletracks, NEMBA's magazine, and as I was thumbing through, there is a picture of the group who participated in the Trail Maintenance day at Lynn Woods. I was sitting on the left with one leg out and one leg tucked under.
I am looking forward to the the adventure series there this sunday, as I plan to do a semi-epic lynn woods ride. Starting off with the new trail we built above the baseball field, then continuing to the powerlines to Rt 1 loop on the right side of the baseball field to hoping over to the Left side of the field. It is likely to be a 25 mile ride.
As much as I do not like the rain, it will allow me time to rebuild the prophet's drive train and tru the tires on Saturday.
There will be no ride until Sunday. This afternoon, rain pending, I plan on servicing the brakes on the Vic. Replacing pads are generally an easy process, but we will see as I begin inspection of the entire brake assembly. disc, pads, rotors, bearings, seals....hmmm. not liking it already. Hopefully it will be just the pads and it will be a moderately quick job.
