aller à Paris

It is set in stone. The travel arrangements have been made. The wife and I are leaving for Paris next friday. We've got two weeks. whoa. I think I might get bored. ha. I have never been outside of North America, and my first trip outside the continent is to Paris, France. I have a feeling I won't be bored. I spent much of yesterday evening reading tourists books of Paris and navigating Parisian spots on old maps of the city with Michelle. Looking forward to cafes and beers and parks and gardens, Sparkling Eiffel tower lights and the Louvre, Gargoyles of Notre Dame and the Arch de Triumph among many other things.

A visit to the Passport office went pretty smooth. I went yesterday and can pick up my passport friday. Paid the same price as the normal expedited passport fees. The difference is instead of waiting two weeks, I can get it in three days. The only things needed were: an appointment at the Passport Office, my naturalizastion papers, passport photos and 157 bucks. The employees there were very nice and congradulated me on my becoming a citizen. I love the irony in this though, I get naturalized and the first thing I want to do is leave the country.
